Storytelling Salon Lisbon
25 October 2013 @ 06:30 - 21:00
«Stories have to be told or they die, and when they die, we can’t remember who we are or why we’re here.»
Sue Monk Kidd, The Secret Life of Bees
Stories must be told, shared, and heard! Funny stories, love stories, stories that give you the creeps, real stories, misterious stories… Articulated words that create a universe of beings and of adventures in our imagination!
TimeBank Lisbon, in a partnership with café 100 Artes, welcomes all timebankers to a «Storytelling Salon».
Late in the afternoon of October 25th 2013, come to tell us your tale!
With us will be the writer Samuel Pimenta (Portuguese Young Authors Prize 2012, with the poem «O Relógio» [The Watch], and author of Geometria, his most recent poetry book).
General information:
– Each storyteller can bring one or more stories (as long as they are read at different times of the event), by them or by other authors;
– Each story must not be over 7500 characters.
– The storyteller is free to choose the best method to make the reading more dynamic! It may be interpreted, accompanied by music, etc.
– The salon has no scheduled time to finish, so you may enjoy your time and taste some delicacies made at Café 100 Artes.
